Mandalay Pearl is a beautiful hill top estate on the Caribbean island of Mustique which was originally built in the late 1980s for the British rock legend David Bowie, in collaboration with renowned architects Arne Hasslqvist and Robert Litwiller. The villa itself is set within six acres of gardens and centers around a beautiful Koi pond.
The interior features a study, a well-equipped rehearsal studio, a stage, and several reception rooms. The games room is perfect for entertaining with its pinball, arcade games, darts, foosball, and billiards table. Each air-conditioned bedroom has a king-size bed and bathroom. Each of the 5 guest bedrooms features a dressing room and private veranda, which leads to the infinity pool. The remaining 2 bedrooms are located in separate houses, the Writer's Cottage and Artist's Studio, each with a kitchen and private balcony. This villa also comes with ceiling fans, mosquito nets, a sound system, wet bar, a gym, iPod docking stations, a Catamaran boat, Kawasaki Mule golf cart, and WiFi.
Built around a split-level koi pond, waterfalls and an infinity pool, this hilltop estate blends Balinese style with modern elements. Situated on the grounds are a dining pavilion and private garden deck which is perfect for sunbathing.
